Old alpine buildings do not necessarily lend themselves well to modern expectations of comfort and en-suite bedrooms. A simple walk across the corridor to a shared bathroom is an improvement to putting on your boots and jacket to visit the outside toilet round the back of the chalet. Some people are happy to walk across the corridor to visit the bathroom, others cannot entertain the thought. The bedrooms and bathrooms require renovation for sure, but how far should we go?
